I was a diplomat in Geneva when the democratic government collapsed in Afghanistan. I decided to make Switzerland my new home.
Going back to Afghanistan while the Taliban are in power will result in my death.
Generally when we are in a new place and live with different communities we find it difficult to adjust and we feel like strangers. However my experience with Swiss people was totally opposite. I found Swiss people very welcoming, very calm and they like to do everything in a proper way and smoothly.
The former government of Afghanistan was a women supporting system (...) Sometimes I feel that Switzerland is a women dominated country (...) and provides better opportunities for women compared to Afghanistan.
