I come from Afghanistan. Home, for me, is a place to be at peace. In a migrant center, one cannot feel at peace.
i took photos that show my daily life. I don’t know who the next person to carry the suitcase will be. But I wish them courage.

The noise from the highway is constant. It is hard to sleep.

There are so many of us living here. We are packed in.

The house of "stars"

There are rules for everything here.

When you leave through the gate, there is a bus stop right there. I feel like people think I live in prison when they see us.

Sometimes when people come to visit, they are not allowed inside. So we speak to each other through the fence.
